Overview
Business Development Executive Location: Reading Salary: £24k OTE My client based in Reading is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their team where you will be finding new prospective customers within the target market. This is a critical role within the sales process to ensure that there are quality leads for the sales team to grow revenues. The successful candidate will be resourceful, organised and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company’s reputation and look for new, creative ways to market their products and services. A background in sales or marketing is strongly desirable. Duties: Contact new and lapsed customers using a variety of channels to promote the company Promote concepts to gain interest and open doors to a face to face meeting Extract customer data from search websites to find new contacts and projects to target Schedule and co-ordinate site visits for external Business Development colleagues Assist with other duties as required Person Specification: Self-starter who is able to work on their own initiative Ability to manage and prioritise workload Excellent telephone communication skills Outgoing telephone experience essential Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Proactive approach to process improvement and efficiency Enthusiastic team member
