Due to rapid growth and increased demand for our Data Privacy Compliance platform, OneTrust is seeking a Sales Engineer who will report to the Sales Engineering Manager. In this role as a Sales Engineer (SE), you will drive business development and sales growth by providing technical expertise, competitive positioning, and product evaluation support to prospective customers for the OneTrust Data Privacy Compliance platform. The SE has a clear understanding of the privacy industry, including regulatory environment, and uses this knowledge to support all of the primary responsibilities. To thrive in this role, the SE will keep up with industry trends, competitive landscape and customer needs. What you’ll do: • Serves as a product expert to the sales team and technical lead on major sales opportunities • Instrumental in full sales cycle including discovery, opportunity evaluation, proof of concept support, and opportunity closure • Support Sales Teams with client meetings and presentations • Work with prospects to devise solutions to complex customer requirements • Coordinates solutions design with Sales team, R&D team, and Technical Sales to ensure accuracy and feasibility • Conduct custom Proof of Concept evaluations to implement software to demonstrate the ability to meet client objectives • Support Sales and Marketing in production of high quality sales proposals and supporting assets • Maintain all sales cycle activities within the Salesforce.com CRM system What we’re looking for: • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent technical field • 2-4 years of relevant experience in the technology industry, ideally in an Enterprise Cloud-based Software company • Experience selling, configuring and delivering software demonstrations • Experience with implementing software products or solutions to enterprise companies • Working knowledge of web applications and their architecture and design • Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills • Strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision making capabilities • Ability to build relationships across stakeholders in marketing, sales and engineering • Strong entrepreneurial skills to excel in a complex and rapidly evolving environment • Willingness to travel, as job requires (Estimated 25%) - European languages required French/German/Italian/Spanish What you’ll gain from joining OneTrust: You can expect tremendous professional development hyper-growth opportunities; an opportunity to work in an open environment on solutions that are reshaping the way business operates; and respect for your ideas.
