Overview
A well established and fast growing events organiser within the Financial Service sector is seeking an experienced sponsorship salesperson to join them in their trendy, Central London based offices. Initially focusing on new business, you will sell sponsorship across a global portfolio including three flagship events, eventually taking over the existing client list by the end of year one. Well established across EMEA and APAC, this company has recently broken in to the US and there is a fantastic opportunity for this person to take ownership of the US portfolio which is set to be a huge growth area for the business. Role Specification: Selling event sponsorship to existing and new business for 5 events in Europe and the US Working with the Senior Management team to grow business globally Building relationships and cross-selling to a highly influential global senior executive audience Negotiating and developing bespoke event packages to suit client's needs Developing recurring revenue and new sales pipelines Identifying opportunities in new markets and sub-sectors International travel to develop client base and attend events Candidate Specification: Solid experience of Event Sponsor Sales Ability to communicate, negotiate with and sell to top tier international executives Commercially astute and driven Target driven with a track record of consistently hitting targets Tech savvy and well informed about international business and events
