Business Development - Edinburgh Are you ready to really help Scotland based business’s grow and evolve? As a business developer for this company - that’s exactly what you will do… My client is a leading consultancy services provider now keen to add to their high performing East of Scotland business development team and as such looking to appoint an exceptional field-based operator who thrives in selling added value solutions for business. You will principally be charged with selling to C-level end-users and will benefit from taking-to-market a broad portfolio of value-added solutions which enable your clients to become more cost effective, operationally efficient, innovative and financially secure. About you: You will already have amassed c5 years’ experience selling services and tailored solutions to businesses ranging from start-up’s to corporates and will be comfortable negotiating with senior leadership within industry. You will be naturally be customer centric, solutions orientated, quick to identify where demand emerges from and you will measure your own effectiveness by the value you add to your new and existing clients. You will be able to demonstrate effective account management but also an extensive track record of self-generating your own revenue streams. Skills you will be able to demonstrate: Outstanding track record of selling complex solutions for business Excellent negotiation skills Broad existing networks and the ability to network effectively The ability to self-generate commercial opportunity Career stability and progression to date Degree educated or equivalent calibre Additional requirements: Valid UK drivers’ licence Flexibility - the ability to travel across Scotland What’s on offer? An excellent basic salary of c£45,000 is on offer plus Car/Cash allowance supplemented by an outstanding and 'realistic’ bonus opportunity of 100% of basic salary on top.
