Overview
deverellsmith have been exclusively retained to recruit a Sales Director to lead our clients expansion into the UK purpose-built student accommodation sector. Our client is an enterprise home automation and smart building technology platform purpose built for the multifamily housing industry (build to rent, purpose-built student accommodation and retirement living). Their extensive product line consists of web and mobile software for property owners and managers, residents and system installers as well as connected hardware that remotely monitors and controls smart locks, readers, gates, lights, thermostats, outlets, cameras and sensors. The app streamlines operations for community staff, enhances the resident experience and provides property owners with a digital layer of asset protection. We are seeking a skilled sales professional to work for an innovative & exciting Tech company in the UK. The role is a key part of the team with terrific opportunities for progression and earnings potential. Principal duties and responsibilities: Identify prospective referral sources and clients in the UK market. Join and participate in key trade associations. Actively generate leads and manage process through sales funnel. Develop and present client proposals. Accurately forecast and execute against sales goals. Possesses a strong attention to detail and decision-making abilities. Ability to function under pressure in a competitive work environment. Great phone demeanor and professionalism. Ability to communicate clearly, listen thoroughly and respond quickly. Team player with the ability to build relationships and work across various geographies and time zones. Able to take on new challenges. Ability to work independently. All other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications and requirements: BA/BS Degree or equivalent practical work experience. Extensive sales experience - technology or real estate preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills; organized and punctual. Aptitude for web technologies, CRM and sales enablement tools. Proficiency in creating sales presentation material and internal documentation including but not limited to sales reports and forecasts. Demonstrated career stability and sales achievement in previous positions. Enthusiasm for technology.
