Job Title: Sales Manager Reporting to: Head of Sales Starting salary: £35-£45k per annum OTE £65K great perks such as private medical insurance, subsidised gym memberships, free breakfast and many more. Reporting to the Head of Sales we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with a passion for sales, a whatever it takes mentality, and a drive to be extraordinary. As well as having a natural confidence to speak with clients we are looking for someone ambitious who will drive sales and celebrate results. You will carry out pro-active sales activities whilst nurturing and growing current accounts to support Smarter’s run rates and revenue. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Building the weekly sales run rate via direct to consumer channels. Reaching and exceeding sales targets and taking ownership of sales Managing and monitor the Amazon selling pages adjusting KeyWords and actively looking for ways to improve run rates Working closely with and collaborate with the Marketing team Researching potential target industries and customers Qualifying and closing sales with retailers and distributors Attending external meetings with customers alongside the Head of Sales Building working relationships with external key stakeholders i.e. retailers and Distributors Building working relationships with the management team Reporting on sales results, pipeline and CRM activity on a weekly basis Proactively contributing and supporting the Head of Sales with sales initiatives and projects that will maximise sales and operational improvements Must have requirements Able to qualify and close deals Proven track record in reaching and exceeding time bound sales targets Have consumer electronics experience or experience selling a physical product Experience in Direct to Consumer sales – B2C Experience in managing retailers and distributors is desirable. Highly organised and follows up on tasks and leads Excellent mathematical skills and has an understanding of product margins Excellent negotiation skills Is a go getter and motivated by a commission driven structure Is an energetic and confident individual Has experience working in start-ups or small businesses Experience in Marketing with good industry knowledge Due to the number of applications we receive, only successful candidates will be contacted.
