The role We are looking for an interim Finance & Operations Manager to join our team. You’ll have qualified at a top tier accountancy firm (Big 4) and have decided that world is not for you You’ll have a good mix of technical and commercial skills. From day one you will be given a high level of responsibility, managing all of the finance and accounting operations for the business. As well as looking after Forward Partners, you will work with our Investment team to complete the due diligence on all our investment opportunities and support the founders that we back. Requirements Your main duties will include Preparation of monthly management accounts, journals, reconciliations and variance analysis Preparation of quarterly VAT returns Ensure all external compliance and statutory reporting requirements are met (External Audit, VAT, HMRC compliance etc.) Monthly and quarterly reporting to the FCA Filing corporation tax returns Fund management Managing the invoicing and accounts receivable ledger, reconciliations, accruals, journals Administering monthly payroll, pension contributions and year-end reports (including P11ds and PSA) Bookkeeping - Managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable ledger Finalising expense payments via Expensify CRS Reporting Monthly and quarterly reporting to the FCA Filing corporation tax returns Fund management Requirements ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with around 2 years PQE Previous fund experience would be helpful, in terms of financial accounting and reporting, as well as general fund activities such as drawdowns and distributions Experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment would be amazing Hands-on approach, open to new ideas and willing to improve processes Benefits What are the benefits of working at Forward Partners?
