PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Global Brands Group are looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to join us in our London office to shape, deliver and execute the partner/trade marketing strategy for GBG. In this newly created role, you will work in tandem with various colleagues in sales, brand management and operations and will be instrumental in driving the business performance of the company via our channels to enhance our trading performance. Developing the annual marketing calendar, planning promotional activity throughout the year, you will be responsible for developing trade plans and ongoing marketing activity. RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategy & Innovation: Own and develop the annual marketing calendar, planning brand and promotional activity throughout the year. Lead the development of GBG's trade marketing plans from conceptualization through to execution and analysis. Managing the development of innovative and creative ideas. Operations & Results: Work closely with Sales teams on customer specific Trade Marketing plans. Work with the creative and operational teams to execute ideas. This includes Concession set ups, instore set ups / displays and windows. Management of royalty budgets. Coordinate seasonal campaigns and the provision of updates to the business. = Customers & Relationships: Manage the relationship with commercial partners for trade fairs, showrooms etc. Act as the key liaison between GBG, licensors, product, and partners to create consumer demand at point of sales. Managing the Trade Marketing budget allocation and tracking expenses for the licensors Leadership & Teams: Establish strong relationships with colleagues across the GBG business as well as external partners and licensors. #LI-POST-G Skills & Qualifications: You will have a strong background in partner and retail marketing. Passionate and driven with a desire to succeed. Proven experience of developing an annual marketing calendar. Strong communication and influencing skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working partnerships with ease. Proficient in MS Office. Have a positive 'can-do' attitude and happy to 'roll your sleeves up' Previous experience in either apparel or footwear and accessories. Previous experience of managing budgets would be an advantage. Ability to work with multiple brands and understand different aesthetics. Enthusiasm and determination with a commercial mindset.
