Job Description

" The debt recovery team are responsible for the passing of accounts to external agencies for the collection of overdue balances and vehicles that have exceeded their terms. A number of customers will, at some point default on their agreement and default into arrears, whilst a number of these customers are rehabilitated by the credit control team it is often required that accounts are sent to external agencies for the purpose of debt recovery, vehicle recovery and litigation. The Debt and Asset Recovery Advisor provides administrative support by the collation of files to send to external agencies, letter sending and monitoring of accounts. \t * Management of statutory notices \t * Monitoring of accounts with both consumer and corporate insolvency \t * Monitoring and liaising 3rd party agencies for litigation and insolvency \t * Issuing and checking of Annual Statements \t * Issuing and checking of Defaults \t * Issuing and checking of Notice Of Sums In Arrears \t * Legal post, including scanning and indexing of all legal paperwork received \t * To maintain all relevant paperwork and accurate filing of correspondence \t * Collation and allocation of defaulted accounts to hand over to external 3rd party agencies \t * Collation and allocation of agreements that have exceeded their terms to hand over to external 3rd party agencies \t * Collation and allocation of vehicle collection reports from external vehicle collectors \t * To liaise and support internal departments and external debt agencies with customer query resolution \t * Monitor insolvency notification and respond in a timely manner for payment and vehicle collection \t * Completion, recommendations and allocation of monthly write off requests \t * Management of 2 mailbox and ensuring all emails and correspondence is dealt with within the KPI set by management \t * Monthly reconciliation of all 3rd party agencies \t * Daily reporting for management team \t * Other ADHOC tasks as specified by management team Essential Criteria \t * Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Excel including Word & Excel \t * Communication i.e. face to face, telephone and e-mail \t * Planning and Organising \t * Customer handling \t * Strong administration skills \t * Strong numeracy skills \t * Identify and recognise knowledge of risk " Education: Not Specified Employment Type: Permanent
