Job Description

As part of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust the Chemotherapy Daycase unit provides a full range of cancer treatments with both curative and palliative intents. The Chemotherapy Daycase unit is based at the City campus and also has a satellite unit at Kings Mill Hospital in Mansfield. This post will require the candidate to be fully flexible between both sites. Our very dynamic and busy out-patient departments treat around 300 patients per week and covers a wide range of malignant diseases with chemotherapy, biological and immunological therapies. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to become part of our dedicated team of specialist nurses. We are looking to recruit someone with a minimum of 1 year's post-registration experience who has excellent communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team. Oncology/Haematology experience would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given to the right person. We are constantly striving to improve our service to patients and work closely with our Oncology colleagues to develop and extend our service.
