We are currently looking to appoint an Assistant Chief Constable to join our Chief Officer Team, this will be a permanent appointment for an experienced Senior Officer. The successful candidate: * You will have an authentic and engaging style of leadership, with the personality and sincerity to inspire support across the Force. * You will have a credible track record of driving forward, improving and delivering successful performance outcomes at a strategic level * You will have extensive experience of business change, with the strategic skills to support the implementation and delivery outputs of our Target Operating Model. * Being true to yourself and your own personal values means that you will appreciate how important valuing difference is and the positive impact this can have for all of our communities. * You will have the type of communication style that brings to life our strategic vision for your teams, and through them you will ensure the delivery of the Police and Crime Plan for the communities of North Yorkshire. This is a unique opportunity open to all eligible applicants including: * Substantive ACCs seeking lateral development * Superintendents and Chief Superintendents who are already qualified through the Strategic Command Course * There is expectation that the successful applicant will participate in the Gold rota and therefore a current SFC qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
