* Temp role with the potential to go perm * Join a friendly, inclusive, diverse team * A chance to learn and grow your finance career Euromonitor are looking for a Cash & Banking Executive to join the finance team in London on a 6 month contract initially with the potential to go permanent. This role is primarily concerned with all day-to-day cash and banking operations for all of Euromonitors global offices. Additional experience in Accounts Payable is preferable as we would expect that this role works interchangeably with the Accounts Payable team. Duties & Responsibilities: * To ensure supplier and staff payments are processed on time including helping with global office payment matters as and when required * To process daily/weekly and ad hoc payments via online global banking platforms * Accurately coding and posting the above onto Sage Line 100 * To perform daily reconciliation of multi-currency bank accounts and posting of incoming/outgoing transactions * To deal with administration, reconciliations and posting transactions into accounting system for expenses * To identify and process all incoming debtors payments and web receipts correctly * Assisting overseas subsidiaries with payment confirmations, funding requests, training, general accounting and bookkeeping duties * To ensure that all month end processes are completed in accordance with the department timetable including the posting of required journals and reconciling of control accounts * Send out remittance advices to London suppliers * Respond to all payment/invoice queries from staff and suppliers in a timely and professional manner * Any ad hoc duties as required, including providing auditors with process information as and when required Requirements * Experience working in a multi-currency cashbook & treasury function. Additional understanding of accounts payable and sales ledger function would be ideal * Good accounting skills including a detailed knowledge of double entry, reconciliation work, cashbook and accounts payable ledger bookkeeping skills * To be able to process large amounts of data quickly and accurately * Excellent communication and organisational skills, superb attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative * Knowledge of SAGE systems is desirable * Knowledge of Word would be beneficial, but Excel intermediate level is essential * Ability to work within a team to ensure teams common goals and targets are achieved and deadlines are met * To always present and maintain a professional approach * Ensure all written communications formal and informal are grammatically, contractually and legally correct at all times * Ability to multitask and prioritise a busy workload Benefits Why work for Euromonitor?
