Clinic Administrator - Exeter Basis: Full time 40 hours per week or Part-time considered - 20 hours per week Location: Exeter Salary & Benefits: 18,754 per annum pro rata Who are we? We provide services for NHS CCGs, NHS Trusts and Foundation Trusts, and other providers of NHS funded services. We deliver over 125,000 patient interactions annually, including outpatient appointments, diagnostic testing and eye surgery. Our services are delivered through a variety of models including Managed Services and Ophthalmology Joint Venture (OJV) Partnerships. It is a very exciting time within Newmedica at the moment as we put into place our plans for rapid growth and we are currently looking for new people to join our team in clinical roles. We are currently seeking two Clinic Administrators to provide support to our Newmedica Exeter service. As a Clinic Administrator in our service, you will have a friendly and accessible personal manner, be able to deliver an effective administrative service to the clinic and be the first point of contact for telephone queries. If successful, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of the clinic, including retrieving patient notes, recording and filing clinical outcomes and utilising electronic patient records. You will work in a small team to set up clinics and theatre sessions, ensure our clinics are fully utilised whilst working to maintain and enhance processes to maximise quality and efficiency. You will also be managing the accuracy of all patient data including liaising with hospitals, GP surgeries, clinics and patients to ensure that Newmedica's electronic patient records are up-to-date. Clinic Administrators pride themselves in possessing excellent attention to detail, good IT skills and on their ability to work within small teams to maintain and enhance processes to maximise quality and efficiency. No clinical knowledge is assumed (full training will be given) but intellectual curiosity is required.
