Job Description

The next great evolution of cloud computing is serverless. Are you passionate about the cloud? Do you want to help mould the future of how customers build amazing applications with AWS? Are you a deeply technical individual who is looking to shape the future of serverless technologies? If you have the right blend of passion, enthusiasm, customer advocacy, curiosity and creativity, you may just be right to join our Specialist Solution Architecture team, focusing on serverless technologies. As a Specialist Solutions Architect, you'll innovate and scale architectural best practices around building and operating serverless application workloads by collaborating with customers, developing content and enabling the wider community to adopt the AWS portfolio of services around Serverless Computing. In this role, you will continuously sharpen and leverage your expertise with cloud-native serverless technologies like AWS Lambda and API Gateway, as well as a wider ecosystem of tools including Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Cognito, AWS Step Functions, Amazon SQN and SNS, Amazon Kinesis and AWS IoT. You will leverage this expertise to guide customers across EMEA, design customer solutions, devise strategy and provide thought leadership on the serverless application lifecycle. Internally, you will be the voice of the customer. You will articulate customer needs by synthesizing your observations from customer engagements and market trends to inform the roadmap of AWS features. You will drive the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures through white papers, code samples, blog posts, and evangelize and educate about AWS technology and industry trends in the serverless space through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences. If you are keen to educate AWS customers about the art of the possible, while challenging the impossible, come build the future with us. This role is within the EMEA organization and we welcome applicants based in the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal and Italy.
