Job Description
Due to continued expansion, our large internationally renowned client based in Stockport is currently seeking as experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. Rate - £15.00 to £16.50 per hour + overtime at x1.5 Hours - 07:00-15:30 Monday to Friday +overtime Person Spec - Good all round engineering background - Fabrication skills - Experience of working with pneumatics, hyraulics, motors and gearboxes Job Role - Carry out mechanical repairs on plant and equipment - Assist the Maintenance Manager in maximising plant availability through the implementation of planned and preventative maintenance schemes. - Ensure that Heath & Safety Legislation and Company policies are being complied with at all times - Interpret blueprints, schematics and CAD drawings of plant and equipment - Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic power systems - Operate machine tools such as drills, lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery - Clean, lubricate and perform other general maintenance work on plant and machinery - Use of portable welding and heating equipment This really is a fantastic opportunity to join a global company that has invested heavily in the local Manchester site.
