Overview
Mechanical Design Engineer Are you an experienced, creative Building Services engineer with a passion for your job? You could be missing out on being rewarded for your good work. A rare opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a group of experienced consultants who specialise mainly on new-build and refurb in the office/commercial property sector. Responsibilities Interpret project requirements from drawings and brief. Undertake site visits i.e. surveys and prepare reports. Liaise with Architects, Structural Engineers, and Contractors etc. Attend design team meetings and project meetings Monitor design progress in accordance with the programme/deadline. Produce design calculations, analysis manually and with the aid of software packages. Produce design sketches. Adopt a flexible attitude to projects and design. Requirements A minimum 3 years’ experience in Building Services Design Successful experience of technical management and development of commercial projects (offices, housing projects, schools, hospitals etc) Experience of using AutoCad and desirably 3d modelling software also A broad knowledge of mechanical design and desirably experience “on the tools” A creative way of working Desire to work, learn and share ideas with some of the best consultants in the Country Educated to HND/HNC level as a minimum Benefits Competitive/Negotiable salary depending on experience Ipad, Laptop, Phone, Car A Bonus Package Working in a lovely country area of Cheshire Modern Offices with refreshments throughout the day Some amazing local food places for dinner A close-knit family working environment with great potential for future opportunities This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89709624
