You will hold a central role in the team in driving and optimising the cost, speed and convenience of the various delivery options available on our marketplace. This includes strategy refinement, collaborating with Development teams to build and change existing product features, working with Legal to ensure compliance and Marketing to drive campaigns for your programs, Customer Service, as well as the Sales teams as required. You will collaborate with business units, product and technology teams, carriers & logistics providers, buyers and sellers in the market to highlight areas of opportunity for growth whilst maintaining and growing Trust on the site. This is a strategy, yet hands-on position where you will be involved in business analysis, functional design and customer experience discussions, competitive analysis, market segmentation, working with partners, and more. The Delivery Experience Manager will be responsible for: + New strategies to improve cost, speed and convenience of all delivery options on eBay. + Providing accurate delivery estimates for both the domestic market in the UK as well as international corridors to and from the UK. + Being responsible for the product experience strategy and executing the plans to improve overall retail standards' availability and presentation on site. + Improving the first-time Delivery success through Tracking information and pre-notification services for buyers. + Working with partner teams (e.g. Buyer Experience) to maintain and improve the available delivery options to sellers and how they are being displayed throughout our buying flows to close potential gaps between current state vs. ever evolving UK retail standards. + Driving adoption of delivery standards using Marketing, Merchant Development and the Product development teams. + Working closely with other regional teams to align on the global Strategy and to use the Product resources available efficiently. + Generating insight from customer analysis (e.g. NPS) and research to help launch and drive initiatives that will raise the bar for Shipping on eBay. + Conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis to understand market factors, problems, and opportunities with shipping on both the selling and the buying side. Desired Skills and Experience + A self-starter, able to run their own work and prioritise in a rapidly evolving environment + Strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail + Ability to drive work to completion working with cross-functional teams representing different business functions + Previous product management experience desirable + Customer orientation, ideally with familiarity with both buying/selling flows + Track record of developing positive working relationships with internal and external partners + Exposure to Supply chain/logistics/fulfilment solutions desirable + Thoughtful, with the antennae to pick up on, and balance, organisational and cultural sensitivities + Ability to keep a calm head and think clearly and quickly under pressure to make the right decisions We love creating opportunities for others by connecting people from widely diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and geographies.
