PR Manager, Amazon Devices & Alexa Amazon UK is seeking a smart, self-motivated and creative individual for the role of PR Manager. This role will work on a variety of Amazon devices and services, including Echo, Alexa, Fire TV, Kindle, Fire tablets, Amazon Appstore, and more. Key responsibilities include working closely with local and global PR colleagues and managing PR agencies to devise and implement strategies to support storytelling for Amazon devices and services. In addition, this role will help develop and manage proactive PR campaigns and momentum narratives to drive awareness of product and service launches, events, partner relations, and supporting the day-to-day activity of the press office, including issues management and proactive and reactive media relations. Candidate must be able to work quickly, multi-tasking projects, and needs a track record of working on major campaigns with a high level of creativity and extensive experience in dealing with consumer and technology media. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Planning proactive campaigns and delivering clear, results-focused reports linked back to objectives Working with external PR support to develop and implement proactive PR plans for devices including Echo, Fire tablets, Fire TV, and Alexa Voice Service products Building and maintaining strong relationships with key media contacts Successfully tackling complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges Using product and service features to develop and execute creative PR campaigns
