Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the EPR project to join the training team. This is a fixed term contract to Oct 2021 EPR Trainer Competative | Homebased | Fixed term | 37.5hrs The role: You will play a pivotal role in enabling Ramsay Health Care to achieve its strategic aims and goals in relation to the implementation of an Electronic Patient Record. The post holder will be required to deliver training to Ramsay staff at all levels across the business. Using your knowledge of working in a Ramsay unit and/or any experience of the wider health care arena, you will apply this experience in the delivery of the training in classroom, or virtual formats. You will be required to work as part of the EPR training team, in partnership with other areas of the project team. With excellent communication and people skills to enable you to gain the support and trust of staff, which will be vital when implementing the EPR to varied staff groups with varying IT knowledge and skills. You will be required to act as a center of knowledge and excellence regarding the EPR solution and will receive appropriate training to provide this. Key Responsibilities and Attributes: * To provide advanced training on the new EPR system (IMS MAXIMS and other systems), to all levels of staff required for service delivery. This will be mainly face to face however webinars and videos will also be used. * The ability to be able to produce training materials is essential * The ability to be able to produce e-learning materials is desirable * To provide teaching in formal classroom settings and via Webinar/WebEx, as well as offering telephone support and onsite support over dress rehearsal and go live. * Travel to Ramsay sites across England, with weeklong stays, on a regular basis. * Previous training experience is essential. There will be significant travel requirements as part of this role. During parts of the project plan where transformation and training workshops are taking place, or other on-site support, this may involve staying away for a full week at a time two weeks in three (intended as a rough guide). Weekend work will at times also be required, such as for dress rehearsal and Go Live cutover activities.
