Location: Edinburgh Job type: Full Time, Permanent Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday Salary: £Competitive Role Overview We are looking for a Quality Systems Manager who will be responsible for the site Quality Management System, including maintenance and development of the quality management system, to ensure continued compliance to BRC grade A and customer green audit status requirements, including: * QAS standards * Factory process Control Specifications * Factory coding books * Internal audits Key Responsibilities * Completion of customer KPI reports * Completion of site and group KPI and technical reports * To manage the company's complaint management system, highlighting key drivers, and drive reduction initiatives. * To manage the site internal audit programme, ensuring audits are carried out to the agreed schedule, and non-conformance are closed out in a timely manner. * To manage the site chemical and microbiological sampling program, including trend analysis. * To carry out traceability exercises, in line with customer and audit requirements. * To participate in factory visits and audits. * To manage the site positive release systems. * Deputise for the QA Manager in their absence. Key Requirements * Relevant Food Science Degree or Equivalent * Food Safety Level 3 (Desirable) * HACCP Level 2 (Desirable) * 2-3 years' experience in a similar role * Experience using computers - pivot tables/excel/word/powerpoint * An understanding of HACCP principles and auditing (e.g., Quality management System, GMP, and hygiene). * Previous supervisory experience * Demonstrate role model and winning behaviours * Planning and organising * Resilience * Multi-tasking * Accuracy Who Are We?
