Carrier is currently recruiting a highly experienced Human Resource Manager for a maternity contract for 12-14 months. During this time, you will actively support the overall achievement of the business plan through tactical and strategic HR interventions, focused on productivity and employment cost management. As a HR Manager, you will: + Be the primary HR interface with the Senior Leaders at local country level, identifying and implementing strategic change requirements + Lead organizational design and development activities in order to deliver and implement strategic change requirements for the future + Broker specialist knowledge and resource from the Global People Services functions and COEs (including HR Administration, Talent Acquisition, Talent and Reward) to deliver entity specific goals + Monitor, analyse and forecast employment costs for the business in conjunction with business managers and Finance, highlighting trends and taking action where appropriate. + Track and forecast movement in headcount + Deliver significant improvements in employee engagement through implementation of Carrier and entity specific actions and resulting in reduced employee attrition + UK travel as required, plus quarterly visits to France What can we offer you? + A competitive salary plus car cash allowance + Pension and Private Healthcare + Flexible home working can be considered + The opportunity to join an expansive, global business + Career progression - we love to build and nurture talent from within + 25 days holidays plus bank holidays and the option to purchase additional days + A central Benefits programme that offers a wide variety of discounts, to include Health & Wellbeing services To be successful in this role you will: + Be an experienced and commercially astute HR Professional, who has worked for a fast-paced, complex US led organization and understands the culture of ethics and compliance + Demonstrate strong relationship management, able to manage a broad range of personalities and characteristics, + Evidence how you have successfully handled Change Management as our business is always evolving + Have the ability to coach and challenge peers and leaders + Previously have operated in standalone role and be used to self-managing + Evidence sound commercial decision making skills + Need experience of leading a restructuring process and strong employment law knowledge, as you will have to make decisions on complex, escalated ER matters + Ideally possess some experience of acquisitions and TUPE + Be CIPD qualified + Be technically competent to include Excel (V Look-Ups & Pivot Tables), Word, Outlook, Internet and Intranet. Also able to use additional systems as required.
