Job Description
About the Role The role will be focused on implementing the software road-map that the business needs to hit for international expansion. You will be orchestrating the delivery of our engineering teams across Smarkets which includes everything from the front-end to the infrastructure. This will involve a lot of focus on making the engineering staff more effective by clarifying and documenting scope as well as keeping them focused on the roadmap. There will be a large element of stakeholder management when roadmaps are being created to ensure the delivery happens as planned. This will include both work with the C-Suite and also discussing the technical details with the team leads and engineers. About you * You will have a background in technical delivery (Tech Lead, Dev Manager, Delivery Lead, Technical PM etc.) and enjoy managing talented engineers to deliver world class software. * You enjoy working with multiple development teams to ensure delivery of customer facing products. * Ideally you would have worked in environments utilising some or all of our tech stack (Kubernetes, Python, C++, React & Postgres). * You enjoy being involved in all aspects of projects you work on and you typically find you add value across the different teams that are involved.
