Job Description

As our Director Global Partnerships (Samsung) you will be responsible for building, executing and supporting our Global GTM with Samsung. You will work closely with key Samsung enterprise mobility sales teams and third parties to create joint solutions that will support and expand Scandit's global sales goals. As examples of activities that you will own, you will be expected to lead named account mappings, joint events, joint product development and product integration as well as integration with third party independent software vendors. Our relationship with Samsung is strong and as the chief steward of that relationship, you will ensure expansion of the relationship in the key focus areas of sales, marketing and product development. What You Will Do * Achieve global partner goals by becoming an evangelist within Samsung with a deep understanding of market dynamics and Scandit's solutions * Ensure Scandit fulfills its obligations under the mutually developed business plan * Leverage your existing network to broaden Scandit's relationships with Samsung globally * Actively engage other Samsung mobility partners, including mutually identified ISV partners who integrate our SDK into their Androidapps for select verticals, like retail and logistics * Become an expert on Scandit solutions with the ability to comfortably pitch and provide training to Samsung sales and marketing teams, as well as other third parties * Support and collaborate with sales team on partner-driven opportunities and drive new opportunities from the partnership * Work closely with Scandit's partner marketing team to create relevant collateral and co-marketing materials for partners as well as coordinate joint customer-facing events * Provide feedback to Scandit's product team based on conversations with Samsung and other Samsung partners * Track all activities in Salesforce, providing feedback and reports to our VP of Partnerships & Alliances Who You Are * Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field * 10+ years experience in partner management, preferably having worked with Samsung enterprise sales as a partner previously * Experience working with B2B mobile or SaaS solutions required, with experience working directly with sales and marketing teams preferred * Experience working in Scandit's primary target industries of Retail and Logistics, additional experience in the industry is a plus * Strong understanding of industry trends, key players, terminology and overall economics of the marketplace * Ability to publicly represent Scandit with internal and external stakeholders, and at industry events and seminars * Strong understanding of the Samsung enterprise.
