Job Description
We are looking for a talented Web Analyst to join the Claire's Digital Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have strong web analytics and tagging experience and the ability to clearly communicate data to drive understanding within the team and provide actionable insights which lead to website improvements. Reporting to the UX & CRO Manager, we're looking for someone to be the analytical firepower for Claire's, specifically to: About the role: * Maintain weekly e-commerce reports and dashboards, tracking key metrics and flagging any trends or performance issues. * Develop new and improve existing reporting frameworks to further enhance understanding of digital marketing channels and on-site experience. * Identify gaps in the current data capture strategy to create an improvements roadmap and collaboratively implement enhancements. * Maintain and support data integrity and validation through management of all analytics and digital measurement tools. * Analyze web traffic and key metrics / drivers to deliver recommendations and actionable insights on ways to further improve the site. * Implementation and management of all new tags and tracking for existing and new site content, features, functionality and developments. * QA and validate all analytics implementations for new and existing projects are capturing the correct data points accurately. * Pair both qualitative and quantitative data to develop and communicate a solid understanding of on-site customer experience and user behavior. * Support conversion optimization efforts through ideation, setup and reporting of testing through tagging, tracking and in-depth, segmented reporting. * Effectively communicate data to all teams and stakeholders to enable educated decision making. * Partner and educate other team members to ensure best practices and decision making are being maintained.BS / BA in Computer Science, Business, Marketing or equivalent. * Minimum 1-3 years' experience with web metrics and/or analytics. About you: Required experience * Digital Marketing and E-Commerce knowledge and experience. * Advocate for data-based decision making and ability to analyze and interpret data and results. * Effectively communicate data to improve site performance and optimize marketing investments. * Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, datalayer, custom dimensions and metrics. * Experience building complex dashboards. * Google Analytics (or similar) experience. * Google Tag Manager (or similar) experience. * Microsoft Excel proficiency. Desirable experience * Understanding of SEO and Affiliates and how to track and analyze success in those channels. * Knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization & A/B / Multivariate Testing principles. * Experience in database marketing and CRM. * Demandware Experience / Skills.
