Overview
Global Category Manager required to oversee IT Services Procurement for a professional services organisation. Your new company You will be working for professional services organisation based in Birmingham. Your new role You will be working as a Global Category Manager overseeing IT Services procurement for the organisation. You will be responsible for the end to end procurement process, which will include responsibility for managing multiple strategic vendor partnerships on a global level. This is a highly strategic position and you will have the ultimate aim of leading strategy and panning for your sub category to deliver competitive advantage to the organisation by generating value and cutting costs. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed you will have managed a large IT spend on a global scale. Ideally you will have previous category knowledge of IT Services and will be familiar with suppliers in this sector. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and will have exposure to managing transformation projects previously. What you'll get in return In return you will receive a salary of between £70,000 - £75,000 with a competitive benefits package included.
