Job Description Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Programme Manager will lead the project management team in leading, managing and delivering all project works. Their remit will be to ensure all projects are delivered to time, cost and budget and compliance to Health and Safety. Programme Manager responsible for; * Provide day to day direction for the Project Managers and Engineers * Reporting on project status and appraise the client as necessary * Have an oversight and understanding of project works being undertaken using established planning methods * Ensure all project works are programmed with delivery dates and key milestones identified within the Archibus project module * Ensure all project works are delivered to time, budget and cost, whilst assuring their profitability * Make best use of the Archibus project module driving usage and making the necessary improvements to the system to delivery a one stop repository * Drive through project planning in line with best practice and utilisation of the Archibus project module * Understands and complies with company policies and procedures * Build relationships with key peers across the Sellafield project department and building managers * Understand and comply with the clients budgetary requirements ensuring that target deliverables are achieved and assisting in identifying future budgetary requirements * Review project delivery to ensure technical conformity * Understands and complies with company policies and procedures * Attends and fully participates in training and appraisal activities as required * Obtaining and controlling all relevant resources, such as people (skills and knowledge), plant, and materials to enable delivery of technical compliance within the contract. Strategy and Planning: * Under the direction of Head of Operations support the development of a robust project delivery strategy for the next financial year within Archbus project module. * Planning and project set-up (develop project delivery/procurement strategy, define the brief, on-board and engage with the project managers. * Support the project triage process where required. * Develop and Set initial project timeline (liaise with the PM's re the delivery plan) as set out within the Archibus project module. * Develop a robust set of Client requirements and seek approval in line with account processes. * Enter progress updates into the Archibus programme tracker ( technology platform) * Develop project delivery strategy (consider all options). Seek sign-off in line with account processes Qualifications Qualifications Eduucated to degree level Project Management backgound APMP qualifiation IOSH Managing Safely certificate Preferred civils or engineering background Additional Information Experience * A proven track record of delivering
