Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Intermediate Care Team within the Glenrothes locality as part of the Integrated Community Assessment and Support Service (ICASS). We are looking for an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist to work in the STAR unit within Napier House Care Home, Glenrothes. You will be responsible for delivering services to patients and families/carers with a range of complex care needs. Part of this post will be to work as a case manager for patients who are admitted to STAR beds. You will need to be able to work independently and support a team in a fast paced and demanding environment. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to be responsive and adaptable to the changing needs of the service. You will require to have a degree in Physiotherapy, be registered with the HCPC and CPD to support your ongoing development. There may be occasions where you will be required to work in one of the other community hospital sites within the East Division or STAR bed units across Fife. Our service offers regular supervision, PDP and supports training opportunities. The ability to travel throughout the area is essential. Working 5 days over 6/7 are part of future developments within ICASS. Public Holiday working is in operation (except Christmas Day & New Years Day).
