Job Description
We are currently searching for top consultants to join as SCRUM Mastersacross multiple locations! Toronto, London, Shanghai, Mexico City, Johannesburg, Bogota, and Sao Paulo. In the Scrum Master role, you will be the SCRUM Master for multiple squads that are developing and launching new brands and part of a global community of SCRUM Masters within ZX and ABI. The role is based within our VentureLabs group that is bringing new beverage products to market in 10+ countries. You will support 3-4 squads in your region using agile methodologies. **SCRUM Master roles are consulting opportunities with the possibility of being converted to full-time employment. Essential Job Functions * Effectively communicate agile principles, scrum practices and overall operating model and build trust with key stakeholders * Assist the team in assessing and evolving their 'Scrum Maturity' * Facilitate regular Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily-Standup, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective * Foster agile best practices and a culture of relentless improvement among the scrum team * Earn the respect of the scrum teams and exert influence on them towards an effective agile implementation while maintaining their sense of ownership and empowerment * Champion the use of metrics and other objective measures across the product team particularly around success metrics on the product development * Daily follow-ups with individual team members to remove impediments/blockers for the scrum team. * Assist the Product Owners to make sure the product backlogs are in always being groomed and ready for the next sprint * Protect scrum teams and maintain focus on backlog and sprint timeline * Work with management to escalate problems encountered on/among scrum team as necessary; help remove impediments to progress Requirements * Experienced in a Scrum Master role for at least two years coaching cross-functional scrum teams * Knowledge of one or more Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, JIRA... * Demonstrated knowledge of agile processes and the Scrum Master's role in them, driving team improvements and operating excellence while sharing agile best practices * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical information to a range of audiences * Excellent skills in facilitation and assessing, understanding, and navigating team dynamics towards building and maintaining a high-performance team * Bachelor's degree in in a quantitative field (Data/Analytics, Economics, Computer Science or Engineering) and 5 or more years of relevant work experience * Demonstrable understanding of the challenges commonly faced in an agile context * Ability to think strategically and act in a detailed, hands-on manner.
