The Scrum Master will be responsible for providing Scrum Team leadership and support to 2 to 3 Squads to ensure they are delivery focused and uphold the agile principles leading to transparent, self-organising mature teams. Working in close collaboration with Digital Product, you will act as the interface between the Business, Product and Delivery Teams, ensuring we deliver to schedule, setting expectations and quality commitments. Responsibilities * All planning around effective and repeatable sprints including Refinement, Sprint planning, Sprint Ceremonies, Quality and Deployment * Ensuring squads deliver to Sprint commitments by effectively eliminating blockers for the Squad * Ensure squads follow agreed processes * Supporting the deployment of features * Supporting squad delivery improvements via metric analysis and a programme of incremental improvements * Effective reporting on Squad delivery progress * Effective escalation where appropriate * Effectively support the Delivery Squad through changes in objectives and the re-prioritisation of requirements * Support the Squads to proactively eliminate any ambiguity in requirements or solution, by ensuring appropriate engagement with external support functions such as Product, Architecture, Technical Leadership & Delivery Management * Facilitate resolution where Sprints dont go to plan, taking into account technical, product and commercial priorities and ensuring effective communication within and to outside of the Squad to support effective decision making Requirements * Scrum Master experience working customer facing products * Knowledge of software development and the SDLC in ana agile environment * Proven experience of managing more than one Squad in parallel and an understanding of the challenges that come with this * Demonstrable experience as an influencer working with Product Owners and Business Stakeholders to gain a common view on priority * Strong track record delivering in CI / CD environments with an understanding of CD processes * Competence supporting Squads using JIRA & Confluence * Strong knowledge of Scrum and Kanban * Communication skills * A cool head under pressure and be able to adapt to changing needs of the business * Knowledge of key metrics and set up of tracking and data driven decisions Benefits Talented team - collectively having delivered many best in class products at scale - globally Culture is king - dedicated to ownership and recognition of effort Contemporary tech - all-in cloud and committed to supporting emerging technology such as Serverless and Data Science Training & Education - online training, group brown-bags, external events and inspirational books Pension - company pension contributions up to x% Fruit! - Fresh fruit delivered weekly to the office Social - social events and employee awards scheme Company Discounts - employee scheme for discounts Cycle Scheme - help to purchase cycles to support health and the environment
