Hours per week: 30 hours Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31/12/2020 Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge? Are you committed to putting the patient at the centre of everything you do? We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Specialist Occupational Therapist, to join our Stroke and Neurology Teams based at York Teaching Hospital. About the role: The successful candidate will join a dynamic and developing patient focused neuro- rehabilitation service. You will be responsible for providing specialist occupational therapy treatment and management of patients, providing rehabilitation to patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The role is supported by several senior clinical therapists, and will include participation in the in-service training, clinical and management supervision and will include opportunities for service development. The successful candidate will be : * A team player who is dynamic, motivated, forward thinking and has good communication and organisational skills * Able to provide support to students and junior members of staff * Willing to develop services and identify potential areas of efficiency and improvements * Focused on delivering patient centred care, within a professional and caring environment If you are both motivated and flexible, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, then we would like to hear from you!
