We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated, collaborative and committed individual to fill ourJr. Network OPS Technician position. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Jr. Network OPS Technician will support the T. Rowe Price team, to carry out a best in class service in relation to design, operations and implementation tasks associated with the network. The successful candidate will help develop and understand requirements from internal customers and create technical solutions to improve productivity and services. The candidate must have a strong technical background, be innovative and agile, collaborate well in a team environment, and have very strong written and verbal communication skills - a visionary who challenges the status quo and believes that technologies can level-up productivity. WHAT YOU'LL DO: * Cabling/Patching * Server Installs / Removals * Run Terminal server/KVM connections * Label Cables * London Site Surveys * Plug strips moves * Shipping/Receipt of packages * Phone issues that may arise * Mounting equipment like new 4431 Gateways * Moving E1s to the new 4431 Gateways * Basic Telco issues with BT WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: * Experience with IDFs, Data Centers, and office space * Experience with VPNs (DVMRP, GRE, IPSec/SSL VPNs) * Some experience with Linux OS/Networking * Experience with Networking Hardware and Deployment (Cisco 9300/9500/ASR1K/ ISR4K, Juniper MX/EX/QFX series) * Experience with multiple networking vendors including Cisco, HP, Aruba, Juniper, and Arista * Experience with Aruba Airwaves PREFERRED: * Ability to travel (May be infrequent but candidate must be open to travel when required) * Proficiency in Microsoft office suite * Strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Proven organizational skills * Fluent in spoken & written English preferred #indeedhp
