Job Description Responsibilities: * Review designs of other team members. * Provide High Level Estimates on pre-sales prospects. * Design changes to the Gloss product to meet client needs * Specify the design for development and configuration for the solutions including those for Gloss. * Get agreement on the Solutions from Product Management. * Provide assistance and liaise with the development and QC team members. * Coordinate designs and development with development teams on related products.. * Understanding project or client's business and functional requirements. * Document high level solution and approach to fulfill these requirements. Provide estimates for these requirements. * Write Specifications by Example detailing the conditions and expected results for changes in Gloss. * Coordination of the project throughout its development lifecycle e.g. * Responding to the client's and internal queries. * Responding to issues and clarifications raised during Development, internal QC and client QA cycle. * Ensure that the final solution is fit for the requirements, optimal, and meets project target deadlines. Key Skills: * Gloss technical knowledge. * Technical analysis. * Technical skills -- Sybase, SQL. * Good understanding and experience of: * Securities Trade Life Cycle for Debt, Equity and Financing Transactions. * Straight through processing and flows in Middle and Back Office systems/applications. * Settlements processing, Trade confirmations and reporting, Books and Records and Collateral Management. * Technical aspects of Middle - Back Office/ Gloss applications. * Good understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle from requirements gathering, design, software development, testing and user acceptance. * Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal.
