COIT Group is proud to be partnered with a global award-winning SaaS organisation based in London who is seeking to appoint a Director of Engineering to join its leadership team to play a crucial role in the next stage of its development, drive scale and expand a global organisation. About You In the capacity of DOE, you will take full ownership the following * Product architecture * Technical output * Technical/Product strategy and roadmap * Oversea technical teams (technical culture is everything) Technical With that in mind, you will still be involved in coding to some extent so we seek someone with a strong technical pedigree and a background in software engineering/computer science. You'll be working closely across the team's flat and inclusive engineering team. They're SUPER passionate and want their DoE to be equally passionate about best in class and cutting edge software products. Key in this role is a thorough understanding for complex, cutting edge CX/UX when it comes to software products. Collaboration is everything so everyone is aligned and has input into the output with the customers in mind. Working closely with the two co-founders to (and everyone else) you will help drive the business forwards, scale, innovate and internationalise. Requirements * Ideally has had experience of aligning multiple products to one technical strategy and roadmap * Start Up/Scale Up experience * Experience working within a company that has grown at a rapid scale * Has experience working very closely with a Founders but remain with their feet on the ground * Recent experience working in a SaaS company * Has experience of international markets Responsibilities * Long term technical vision, responsible for the Technical Roadmap Strategy for the next 3+ Years * Aligning this technical strategy with the business requirements * The DoE will have oversight of the whole Engineering departments delivery Company Culture We believe that businesses (and people) do their best work when they're working collaboratively.
