We are looking for an experienced OCC Controller to join the team on site. The position for OCC Controller will be a lead role on site on a daily basis. Your shift patterns will include, Days, Nights and Weekends with a pay rate of 9.29 per hour. Job objectives and responsibilities * To Working with Planner - takes control of jobs in progress which are commissioned by the client * Controls and manages an assigned group of assets which are necessary for the successful outcome of a job Main duties * Takes over control of a job from the Planner. * Monitoring all jobs including planning and undertaking all required checks * Reviews timings against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) * Manages and controls assets and resources over the duration of a day shift * Assists in decision making on jobs, advising and instructing relevant parties accordingly. * Monitors jobs in progress and provides a back up/alternative solution for any issues or delays * Liaises with relevant parties with updates, issues, delays caused by 3rd party locations impacting on targets/KPI's * Keeps systems updated so that any MI reporting requires is as relevant as possible * Authorises the closure of shifts for field resources * Controls and supervises MO incidents Health and Safety responsibilities * Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times; * Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment; * Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received; * Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system; Information Security * Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities; * Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager; * Report actual and suspected security incidents; Qualifications Person Specification * Ability to gain a quick understanding of client rules, processes & procedures * Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook * Good general IT skills * Engaging and collaborating with multiple customers * Proactive - to be able to perform in fast moving and pressurised environments, with flexibility, adaptability & agility. * Drives high expectations and performance goals for themselves. * Drives and delivers consistent processes and procedures to improve efficiency and customer experience. * Able to apply self-learning and improvement. * High energy and personal resilience -a can-do approach * Excellent standard of verbal and written communication skills * Ability to see new and innovative ways of working * Personal skills such as negotiation, problem solving and the ability to build sound professional relationships * Demonstrates a high level of initiative and common sense * Ability to focus on customer requirements * Ability to work w
