We are looking for a Snr Country Finance Controller who will be responsible for the daily processes in the areas of financial accounting & compliance of all legal entities registered in the Country. This role is to support the Country Finance Leader in duty through execution of US GAAP and Statutory reporting and internal controls. They will report into the Country Finance Leader. Other key partners include External and Internal Auditors, Corporate Finance and Functional Management. Key Responsibilities: * Execute functional transformation strategy in the country * Support in-country transitions to the Global Finance Centre and the Regional Finance Centre. * Responsible for Knowledge Transfer activities. * Support the Statutory Reporting transition to EY Alternative * Owns and maintain the SOP (standard Operating Procedures) for the Country activities. * Statutory and US GAAP reports filing, Internal Controls * Define and maintain accounting flows related to Statutory and US GAAP reporting activities. * Coordinate Month End close activities. * Conduct annual Balance Sheet reviews in conjunction with the CFL. * Drive and support Corporate Audits in the Country and support resolution of Internal Controls CAPs * Ownership of company assets safeguarding in the country - drive fixed assets/inventory counts. * Coordinate internal/external audit for the region in conjunction with the CFL. * Coordinate Intrastate preparation and compliance * RPA leverage to automate in-country compliance activities (Statutory Financial Statements, In-Country Tax Package) * Management Reports, BOD resolutions * VAT Return issue log review and sign off * Social Tax filing ownership and payment instruction * Bank signer review / Fraud risk assessment * Engage Actuary as regards to yearly Pension (FAS87) * Overall Tax Compliance * Manage projects in the Region and drive integration of new acquisitions * Plan and execute specific projects for Country or Region * Partner with SBG Controllers to address in-country legal entity change management needs; including acquisitions, divestitures, site closures and core business processes migrations. * Purchase Accounting * SAP/CPS Implementation (Mapping, Testing, UAT, etc) You Have: * Extensive experience in General Finance and Auditing * Educated to a University Degree level or equivalent (e.g. Finance, Accounting) * Strong experience with French finance environment (Corporate Audits, VAT, tax, in-country compliance activities etc.) * Knowledge of US GAAP and French Plan Comparable General (PCG) * Fluent in both English and French * Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization. * Proven track record in negotiations. * Experience in building and executing a strategy. * Excellent leadership & communication skills.
