The role The HRIS & MI analyst will report to the HR operations manager and will support the HR operations team with the day to day HR data management and firm reporting requirements. The role will support the management and continuous development of the Firm's HR System (Cascade); this involves assisting with the design and build of various end to end workflows utilising the system built in features to automate and improve our processes. Strong problem solving skills are critical when issues arise, understanding the technical aspects of the system and working with the HRIS vendor accordingly. The successful candidate will need to be able to work with the HR operations manager to look at ways to deliver projects when limitations of the solution are found that may not on the face of it be straight forward. Although the focus of the HRIS role will be HR orientated the system is fully integrated with the recruitment ATS (Applicant Tracking System), onboarding platform and Payroll solution and they will need to support each part of these. Following the implementation of Cascade (HRIS) at the start of 2019, the desire for data across the Firm has increased considerably; reporting, manipulation and analysis of data forms a crucial part of this role. The ability to create complex excel reports and present data in an easy to digest format is expected. The HRIS integrates with various other programs outside of HR and the successful applicant will need to maintain important working relations with key stakeholders across the Firm. This job description encompasses the main duties of the role and is by no means exhaustive. It is anticipated that duties may vary from time to time according to the needs of the department. The candidate The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast paced environment, we are often required to action unplanned tasks in a timely manner. The candidate should have strong analytical and excellent communication skills. They must have excellent Excel skills, understand how to manipulate data and to see trends. An in depth understanding of HRIS solutions is important (ideally Cascade) as is a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
