Job Description

At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we're hiring an Applications Migration and Modernization EMEA Practice Leader to build and lead a team of people that deliver large-scale application development, transformation, migration and operational integration projects on the AWS platform. As the person in this role, you will be responsible for leading in-country Practices across EMEA, building and developing teams of consultants across some of the most cutting-edge specialty projects that AWS customers are deploying in the cloud, and collaborate with Partners in delivering business value to our customers. AWS Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective AWS customer experience, best practices, and obsessing about strong success for the Customer. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product, service, and training teams, to deliver the right solutions and drive feature innovations for our customers across all industries. These professional services engagements focus on the full platform of AWS customer solutions to help our customers and partners remove constraints and accelerate their journey to AWS. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ABILITIES Build and lead a team of individuals across EMEA who will ensure successful delivery of projects with our most strategic customers Work as a strategic business advisor to help customers achieve their business outcomes and help to drive innovation throughout the engagement life cycle Collaborate with our partner ecosystem, establish executive and technical relationships with key Systems Integrators (SIs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Managed Services Providers (MSPs) who are offering cloud-based services and solutions across the Applications Migration and Modernization specialties. Help deliver joint proposals and joint engagements for partners to succeed in large, complex customer engagements using AWS Coach and collaborate with AWS teams (Field Sales, Solutions Architects, Training and Support teams) to learn and use platform services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, Amazon Lambda, etc. in business-critical scenarios Ensure the high-quality delivery of a variety of customized engagements with partners and enterprise customers in the commercial sector This role can ideally be based in Paris, Munich, London, Amsterdam or Madrid
