CITI VP, Global Capital Management, BCMA EMEA Citigroup Centre, CANADA SQUARE CANARY WHARF, WEST INDIA DOCKS LONDON Competitive Salary Offered Closing date: 9th July 2020 Job Purpose + Ensure efficient use of capital in the EMEA region with responsibility for GCM and Leveraged Finance transaction approvals and supporting GCM team members to optimize Capital across the region + Lead key strategic projects (incl. Red Zone, LPM product, revenue performance and returns metrics, Leveraged Lending Guidelines) and liaise with NAM, LATAM and APAC GCM partners to ensure globally consistent practices + Seamlessly navigate strong working relationships with external, internal and network partners + Actively review / manage Red Zone Exposures, Real Estate and Leveraged Finance portfolio and individual exposures + Report periodically on capital and returns metrics to regional senior management and GCM EMEA Head + Lead CB coverage as Parent Account Manager of clients (Real estate, Leverage Finance and IPO prospect clients) Key Responsibilities: + Provide leadership and active participation in global projects for Capital Management (Red Zone, LPM Product, GAAP monitoring, LevFin related) + Support and guide team members in structuring internal processes on transactions and reviews of capital requests + Actively participate in coverage of clients from a CB perspective + Portfolio optimization and performance accountability for EMEA Leverage Finance Portfolio + Coordinate approval processes and liaise with Approval committees including recommendation of approvals + Develop team members' coverage & credit skills, and facilitate client interaction + Partner with Risk across BCMA and ICG Development Value: + Exposure to a complex and fast-paced banking environment + Develop credit knowledge of all industry sectors and country perspectives across the entire EMEA region + Become a fully independent Transactor able to work on complex transactions and provide guidance to team + Develop network and increase internal visibility; especially with senior management regionally and globally + Lead relationships as a coverage banker with direct client responsibility Skills and Experience: + Strong knowledge of Risk and Credit analysis + Experience in client coverage + Experience in team management + Proven execution capabilities + Strong risk, control, and capital management skills + Ability to multitask + Strong Verbal and Written communication skills + Interpersonal skills Competencies + Initiative (self-starter), highly-driven individual + Adaptability & flexibility + Team player - being able to work in partnership with other individuals on day-to-day and long term projects + Strong leadership capabilities + Good negotiator + Sets examples of integrity, creativity, initiative and resourcefulness for the team Citi is an Equal Opportunities Employer Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience ----- Grade :All Job Level - All Job FunctionsAll Job Level - All Job Functions - GB ----- Time Type : ----- Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
