Job Description
An exciting opportunity to join The State Hospital as the Procurement Manager. Band 7: £39,300 - £46,006 (under review) plus £1,336.68 High Secure Environmental Allowance per annum Part Time - 22.5 Hours, Fixed Term for 24 months You will support a full range of Procurement activities including tendering and evaluation of both internal and national procurement programmes. Responsibilities will also include operational support and advice, and education, staff training and line management to the procurement team. You will also be expected support all the hospitals stakeholders in all aspects of procurement. The role will also involve collaboration with other boards to achieve a common aim and savings. You will also be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and on your own initiative and lead on projects or topic areas as required. You will have an enthusiastic approach and good organisational skills; a high level of education or experience that is relevant to the needs of the service. You will be able to work to a high standard using judgement and initiative to handle day-to-day issues, while balancing your time and workload to meet deadlines. You must be results-orientated and be able to achieve these working in partnership, in the within the wider finance directorate. It is vital that you demonstrate the values of The State Hospital with openness, integrity, respect and care being at their heart. You should be educated to HNC/HND level or have relevant work related experience.
