PerfectDraft operates as an independent venture within the ZX Ventures ecosystem. BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT The PerfectDraft business is rapidly expanding in terms of volume and geography, whilst taking tangible steps to improve its brand and value proposition. The team have decided to adopt a fully agile approach to help increase the velocity of making progress against 5 strategic priorities: * To accelerate sales in existing channels * To rapidly improve the PerfectDraft value proposition * To make supply chain a source of competitive advantage * To open up new channels, customers and territories * To build the PerfectDraft Brand To enable the formation of a fully agile team (operating Scrum), we are recruiting for a Scrum Master to help establish new ways of working and coach the team to accelerate progress against these 5 priorities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES In order to help the PerfectDraft team embrace agile principles, and accelerate progress against the 5 strategic priorities, the main responsibilities of the role will be to: * Effectively communicate agile principles, scrum practices and overall operating model and build trust with key stakeholders * Assist the team in assessing and evolving their 'Scrum Maturity' * Facilitate regular Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily-Standup, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective * Foster agile best practices and a culture of relentless improvement among the scrum team and the development organization as a whole * Earn the respect of the scrum teams and exert influence on them towards an effective agile implementation while maintaining their sense of ownership and empowerment * Champion the use of metrics and other objective measures across the organization particularly around success metrics on the product development * Daily follow-ups with individual team members to remove impediments/blockers for the scrum team. * Assist the Product Owner to make sure the product backlogs are in always being groomed and ready for the next sprint * Protect scrum team and maintain focus on backlog and sprint timeline * Work with management to escalate problems encountered on/among scrum team as necessary; help remove impediments to progress SOUND INTERESTING TO YOU? HERE'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: * You thrive in startup or fast-paced innovation environments. You're comfortable working autonomously, with little oversight. You'll be on a small team with significant responsibilities and will need to be comfortable working - and delivering - in an unstructured, fluid environment. * You will be experienced in a Scrum Master role (> 2 years) coaching cross-functional teams * You will demonstrate a high level of knowledge of agile processes and the Scrum Master's role in them, driving team improvements and operating excellence while sharing agile best practices * You will have excellent skills in facilitation and assessing, understanding, and navigating team dynamics towards building and maintaining a high-performance team * You are a solid communicator who can motivate and coordinate across different levels and geographies. You are fluent in English and (preferably) able to communicate in at least one other European language. * You have a hands-on attitude and can shift quickly between running large-scale projects, coordinating operational processes and managing a crisis when needed. * The following qualifications are not required but are a plus: * One or more Scrum certifications such as SCM * Experience in product development and execution Anheuser-Busch InBev is an equal opportunity employer.
