Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for all payroll-related tasks. You will be in control of the end to end monthly payroll process for 2 of our recently in-housed retail payrolls, and supporting the Payroll Manager when required. You will be working across our Finance and HR teams supporting all processes from a payroll perspective. You will ensure payroll variations are all up to date to include additions, deductions and any variable pay issues that arise. Also assisting with the monthly pension and workplace benefits processes. You will also respond to payroll queries within the agreed SLA. Do I have what it takes? You will be a seasoned Payroll extraordinaire, super organised with the ability to manage strict deadlines paying close attention to detail with the ability to work accurately. You will be able to investigate and resolve payroll issues and ensure strict compliance with company and regulatory standards. * At least 4 years previous payroll experience, from at least 2 different companies * Problem solving will be second nature to you * Experience in producing P11ds * Excellent attention to detail * Have previous experience with meeting strict deadlines * Previous experience working with Workday would be preferable * Your communication skills will be excellent * You will be able to work on your own initiative or as a part of a team * A comprehensive knowledge of payroll systems, G Suite, MS word and Excel * Preferably CIPP qualified or working towards a payroll qualification
