Overview
An excellent opportunity for a Payroll Team Leader to join a busy, fast paced Finance team in central Bristol, to ensure the smooth running of all payroll-related tasks. Client Details Our client is a well known business with an office in central Bristol, they have a strong brand and an excellent reputation in the local area. Due to company growth, they are currently recruiting for a Payroll Team Leader to join them on a permanent basis Description You will be in control of the end to end monthly payroll process for 2 recently in-housed payrolls, and supporting the Payroll Manager when required. You will be working across the Finance and HR teams supporting all processes from a payroll perspective. Responsibilities include; Ensuring payroll variations are all up to date to include additions, deductions and any variable pay issues that arise Engage and support the payroll team Assisting with monthly pension and workplace benefits processes Responding to any payroll queries within the agreed SLA Profile The successful Payroll Team Leader will have; Experience with end to end monthly payroll process Experience in leading a team Strong problem solving skills - it will be second nature to you Experience in producing P11ds Excellent attention to detail Previous experience with meeting strict deadlines Previous experience working with Workday would be preferable Excellent communication skills The ability to work on your own initiative or as a part of a team A comprehensive knowledge of payroll systems, G Suite, MS word and Excel Preferably you will be CIPP qualified or working towards a payroll qualification.
