Overview

Payroll and Team Administrator We are seeking a Payroll and Team Administrator to join our client’s growing Accountancy Practice team in Bristol. This role would suit you if you have experience of running payroll for multiple clients/companies each month as well as strong communication, organisation and attention to detail skills. Your role is pivotal for the growing team as we need a meticulous and organised individual to take responsibility for getting their clients’ employees paid accurately and on time, whilst also supporting the internal practice team with all things customer service, admin, finding solutions - essentially you’ll happily turn your hand to whatever is needed to help the clients and team succeed. Key responsibilities of the Payroll and Team Administrator: Manage the preparation and processing of payroll information to ensure this is done in an accurate and timely manner; Assist with calculation of payroll input data where necessary; Handling and resolving payroll queries via both phone and email; Manage the auto enrolment responsibilities for some of our clients including calculating pension contributions and submitting the data to pension providers; Continually improve internal controls to ensure proper treatment and compliance of all payroll transactions; Onboard new clients and welcome them to the practice providing admin support to the practice manager. Assist in the general admin of the firm which will mostly include answering phone calls and emails or directing them to the appropriate person and scanning sensitive documents. Our ideal candidate for this Payroll and Team Administrator role will have: Great phone and written communication skills; Fantastic customer service personality where you’ll do what it takes to find an answer or a solution for clients and your team; 1-2 years of payroll experience; Exceptional organisational skills and accuracy; Strong problem-solving skills and a pro-active attitude; Desire to work in a small accountancy practise of two people and growing to four in the next few months (including you) Salary is £20,000 to £30,000 depending upon your experience Workdays: Monday to Thursday in the Horfield office and Friday from home (ideally) Flexible start from 8am to 10am Flexible finish from 4pm to 6pm (and you can do different hours on different days to suit) Based: fantastic private office based in Horfield, Bristol with easy parking The hiring process for this Payroll and Team Administrator role in Bristol starts with sending us your CV and then we’ll tell you much more about the accountancy practice so you can take a good look at who they are, what they do and let us know why this is an ideal next move for you.
