Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a positive, enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant who is flexible and has a desire to make a difference to help and support people. My client provides a supportive environment for learning and development and is keen to meet candidates who are seeking to progress their career. Waking Night Care Assistant Duties and Responsibilities: * Support older residents, people with dementia and or mental health problems * Assist residents with personal care, including dressing, undressing, mobility, personal hygiene, eating and drinking * Document and report any changes in residents health status * Provide person centred care * Ensure residents safety and well-being * Remain awake throughout the night and effectively and appropriately care for and keep safe the residents * Actively engage in all aspects of the night-time care tasks and domestic duties required of you in the home and the surrounding environment Requirements * Care Certificate or NVQ level 2 recommended but not essential * Experience of working with the elderly * Good Communication skills * The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years' experience in the care of older people, Mental Health and preferably in a dementia care environment Benefits Salary: 8.25 - 9.25 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications) Night shifts - 6:50pm - 7.00am Closing date: Friday 15th November 2019 Contact: Aamandeep at Job Paths 4 U Job Paths 4 U is an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
