YOU MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE AND REACH NEW MILTON. NIGHTS - 42 HOURS AVAILABLE (£20769 SALARY BASED ON 42 HOUR CONTRACT). We are Care First Recruitment UK, a family run business who work no stop to place the right candidates to the right clients. This client unit of 18 individual flats (currently 9 occupied) designed for adults with autism and learning disabilities who have complex and high levels of needs. A purpose-built accommodation that helps people with complex learning disabilities to live with as much independence and autonomy as possible. Each equipped with a spacious bedroom, an open plan kitchen and lounge, and a modern bathroom, landscape gardens and communal space. Sympathetically designed both inside and out, great care has been taken to ensure that these spaces incorporate the latest care technology, to give residents even more choice and control in how their support is delivered. The community based accommodation enables people with complex and high levels of need, to live independently in their own flat with the reassurance that care support is on hand 24/7. Learning Difficulties Support workers are committed to enabling the people they support to live the lives they want; lives which are fulfilling, meaningful and happy. This could be day to day support including medicine,community help like shopping,activities like cinema or working alongside them in the communal areas. Other areas can involve cooking, assisting living which will include personnal care and dealing with challenging behavour and non verbal communication. What is the job? A Learing Difficulties Support worker is essential to work every day to help all residents live a dignified and meaningful life. The job requires the highest of standards, bags of passion while always considering the resident's choices, their views and respecting their independence. What we are looking for? For this role our client is now commencing a commitment to provide full training with opportunities to access NVQ training which can be supported to begin to progress your career as a Learning Disabilites Support Worker. Being a support worker can act as a springboard to many different opportunities in the future.
