Overview
Job Description
* Calibration of RF and EMC test equipment in the frequency range of 9 kHz to 40 GHz * Undertake investigations of equipment that has failed calibration and effect repairs where appropriate * Carry out and supervise calibrations for customers at their premises * Produce calibration certificates * Achieve and maintain the relevant competence levels * Perform validation and verification work as required * Creation and maintenance of calibration procedures * Perform calibration development work under supervision of the Calibration Laboratory Manager * Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025 / ISO 9001 as appropriate * Perform any other duties which may be reasonably expected of the post holder * Mentor and/or supervise calibrations carried out by other calibration staff where appropriate * Ensure that the engineer carries out their duties in accordance with all Eurofins ETC policies, procedures and processes, including, but not limited to, the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) Qualifications: HNC/Degree Electronics (or above) Significant work experience in Electronics (Design or Manufacturing) Previous RF calibration experience within a UKAS calibration lab (Desirable, but not essential)
