Job Description
Company Description As part of our continued product investment and growth in customer acquisitions, a position has arisen within engineering department for a Product Owner who will have responsibility for the development one of our automotive diagnostic platforms. The Product Owner shall ultimately be responsible for the success of the product development with responsibility for elaborating the product requirements and ensuring product backlog is correctly prioritized. The product owner shall also be responsible for project management activities and process adherence. Job Description Tasks and Responsibilities: * Leading a development team Designing, developing and testing high quality software for one of our software platform. * The Product Owner (PO) is Responsible for defining the product requirements and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of programme priorities while maintaining the Product roadmap and core stability. * Project Management of the software development activities supported by the Technical Lead. * Budget responsibility for the development project. * Lead stakeholder engagement including project governance reporting Project progress. * Work with Product Management to ensure business objectives of the project are delivered in the correct priority order. * Oversee development of software features based on tasks defined together with the Technical lead. * Demonstrate completed software at stakeholders review meeting. Travel required: Occasionally, depending on project needs, the successful candidate may be required to travel in the UK and internationally, for both customer meetings and technical meetings with Bosch colleagues. Qualifications Essential skills and experience: * Previous experience leading a software development team * Five or more years' experience of working in software product development * Skill in requirement solicitation and management * Awareness of security requirements and software design implications for web-based system * Dedication to high quality, on time delivery * Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desirable skills and experience: * Experience with Bosch Project Management processes * PMP Certified * Aware of Cloud Infrastructures * Certified ScrumMaster or Product Owner * Agile development as part of a Scrum team * Configuration management Additional Information In return you will receive: * A competitive salary and bonus scheme. * 25 days holiday. * Up to 8% pension contributions. * Flexible work-time options. * Cycle to work scheme * Employee discounts on Bosch products and partner companies. * The Stockport Office has free on-site parking, subsidised catering facilities and free fruit.
