Maven is a proprietary trading and market making organisation formed in 2011. We employ the most talented traders, developers and engineers in the market, executing a diverse range of strategies across global equities and derivatives. We are the most active participant in many of the products we trade, contributing significant liquidity to markets around the world. We have offices in London, Hong Kong and New York and will be opening a new Chicago office as part of our plans to expand our coverage of derivatives markets. We are looking for an ambitious and proactive Eurodollar Options Market Maker with a proven profit / risk management history to be a part of our expanding trading operation. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Day-to-day responsibility of trading for the Eurodollar book * Rigorous risk management and perfect compliance with regulatory rules * Improving strategies through analysis, prototyping and collaboration with developers * Proactive behaviour in helping other books achieve their goals through observation and analysis of trading behaviour * Designing and implementing new trading strategies * Openness to trading new products and willingness to set them up * To comply with all applicable Compliance policies, procedures, laws and regulations. CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS: * Prior Eurodollar options market making experience (or similar) * Successful track record of proven P&L and market share * Good understanding of trading systems * Ability to take a high level of responsibility in an expanding, highly successful firm * Proactive interest in improving existing trading strategies and identifying new opportunities * Ambition to build a market leading desk * Outstanding numerical and analytical skills * Excellent attention to detail * Fast problem solving skills * Embodiment of Maven's core values: Integrity and fairness, market leading, creativity, individual and collective success, discipline and accountability
