Programme Manager This role has been advertised as both a Contractor and Permanent position. We are currently considering both types of applications for this role. Overall Role Purpose Experienced Programme Manager who will be responsible for the support and delivery of the programme of work to launch a new Credit Card business with Chetwood Bank. As a new business start-up this may necessitate the creation and manage portfolio plans, status reporting and RAIDs for the programme of work. Key Responsibilities * Manage delivery of complex change programme * Management of cross functional stakeholders * Organisation and management of constituent programme workstreams. * Maintain the portfolio delivery plan * Maintain the portfolio and change RAID logs, tracking and following up action items * Prepare, agree and distribute minutes for change governance meetings * Develop and maintain a reporting suite, including the monthly Portfolio Pack, Governance, Resource Forecasting etc * Provide reporting and analysis to inform decision making across the portfolio * Review and maintain Change Delivery risks on the Risk Register, in collaboration with the Heads of Architecture and Design and Change Delivery * Support the planning and management of change into the business, creating and supporting individual project plans where required * Managing third party contributions to the programme * Managing communications with all stakeholders * Managing both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects * Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the programme are identified or issues arise * Reporting the progress of the programme at regular intervals to the Programme Implementation Group and Steering Group Essential Skills & Experience * Experience of managing cross functional stakeholders * Experience of working in a digital environment and managing through digital channels. * Management of programme/project plans * Agile delivery methods and practices. * Knowledge of all stages of the delivery lifecycle * Project/Programme Management role in the delivery of business change across large and small change initiatives * Good stakeholder management and influencing skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent time management and organisational skills * Strong communication skills * Experience of presenting and reporting information in multiple formats to Board and Executive level audiences * Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills * The ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams * Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes * Sound business case development and approvals skills * Good understanding of the procurement process including negotiation with third parties * Good knowledge of programme and project management methods including MSP and Prince2 * Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures * Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams on their projects in relation to the programme * The ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems Desirable Skills & Experience * Stakeholder Management * Experience of large complex change programmes * Use of Microsoft Project, JIRA or other tooling for portfolio management - solid technical background. * Preference for Credit Card and/or Financial Services experience * Knowledge of Card platforms / unsecured lending environments. * Knowledge of Mobile Applications and digital transformation. * Experience of Cloud based computing Apply for this Job
