Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Finance, a rare opportunity has arisen for a talented Corporate Finance professional to join Winterflood Securities Limited in this varied and challenging role. The team operates principally from London but has a representative office in Edinburgh and the sales team, in particular, make regular visits to other financial centres around the UK and the Channel Islands. The trust team is part of Winterflood Securities Limited, an international capital markets company based in London, covering more UK stocks as a market maker than any other firm. Job Description Key Responsibilities: * Provide value-added corporate finance advisory services to clients * Advise a variety of investment trust clients on capital raising, restructuring and other transactions * Management of key transaction workstreams including direct liaison with key client stakeholders and service providers * Obtain and maintain a strong working knowledge of the application of the listing rules to investment trust clients * Provide timely data, memos and reports to clients * Collaborate with Investment Managers/lawyers/reporting accountants and other key stake holders to develop marketing materials and other key transaction documents * Build business development opportunities with investment trust clients and their stakeholders Learning & Development: * To maintain one's own commitment to CPD in respect of the role's core responsibilities * To complete all regulatory training, as considered mandatory by the Company including any required FCA qualifications Systems & Controls: * To adhere to the rules of the Financial Conduct Authority and the Company's compliance manual, staff handbook and IT security manual * To adhere to the procedures outlined in the Company's Corporate Procedures manual. Communications & External Relations: * To represent the Company and communicate effectively with Group stakeholders, clients, employees, regulators, legal authorities, professional associations and other relevant stakeholders Behaviour & Ethics: * To champion the Company's integrity, accountability, responsibility, ethics, behaviour and values * To demonstrate ethical leadership, displaying and promoting throughout the Company positive behaviours consistent with the culture and values the Board has defined for the organisation Certificated Functions: CF8 Client Dealing Skills and Qualifications: * UK (or equivalent) University Bachelor Degree educated * UK corporate finance or corporate legal experience * Strong communication skills - both written and oral * Knowledge of the Listing Rules, Prospectus Regulation, Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Takeover Code and MAR * Strong skills in Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word Please apply in writing together with CV to:
